We are the body of Christ (I Cor. 12:27). We exist to bring glory to His name (Rev. 14:7) through the equipping of His saints, the building up of His body (Eph. 4:10-16), the multiplication of His disciples (Matt. 28:18-20), and the sending of workers into the harvest field (Luke 10:2). Our aim is not to build our church, but God's Church as a whole, for our faith is not in the temporal things of this world, but in that which is eternal and not yet seen (Heb. 11:1-3).
